The Multifunctional Community Center in Lezhë, in cooperation with the Directorate of Social Services in the Municipality, is implementing the project "Youth Voice for Justice and Rights" with financial support from the Austrian Development Agency and ADC in Albania, have initiated a series of information sessions for students at the professional high school "Kolin Gjoka" who have selected social and health services as their study profile. In the first two meetings, one of which was attended by the head of social services, Mrs. Marte Fetaj, the importance of social workers and the challenges faced by young people from urban and rural areas of Lezha on a daily basis were discussed.
In addition to the informative sessions, the young people have the opportunity to engage in professional practice at the premises of MFCC Lezhë, where they can learn about the best practices developed over the years by Terre des hommes Albania. Alesia, 17 years old, is convinced that she has chosen the right career path.
"Thanks to the information received from these sessions and the practices we are learning at the multifunctional community center of Lezha, I am increasingly convinced that I have chosen the profession to which I want to dedicate myself in the coming years."
