On World Children's Day, Terre des hommes participated in the event organized by the Minister of State for Youth and Children, Mrs. Bora Muzhaqi. The event took place in a specially arranged recreational area at the "Servete Maçi" school in Tirana, under the theme "For every child, every right."
Children and young people participating in Terre des hommes programs, along with their peers from various schools in the capital, had the chance to share their thoughts and emotions on the subject of "My Rights".
Through their paintings, they conveyed powerful messages to state institutions and international organizations, emphasizing the importance of ensuring children's rights. These messages highlighted the need for children to live in a safe environment, receive education, be protected from violence, and be treated with equality.
"The goal of our work is to ensure that you grow up to be well-rounded individuals and responsible citizens." addressed Mrs. Muzhaqi to the children.
As the head of the National Office of Terre des hommes in Albania, Mrs. Enkelejda Kallçiu sent this message:
"In this environment, on a day dedicated to you, dear children, we all share a collective commitment to work towards ensuring your rights. This is because the guarantee of your rights is rooted in the fundamental values of a society that prioritizes its future."
