For 5 days, psychologists and professionals who provide social services in the first line of treatment of minors in Tirana, Kukës, Lezhë, Shkodër, Fier, Elbasan and Durrës were part of the training for trainers regarding the topic "Trauma Informed Care"
More than a training, this event led by two Hungarian psychologists known for their contribution to the field of psychotherapy also served as a moment of reflection for all participants on topics such as:
- The difference between social care and trauma treatment
- Emergency best practices with a focus on children and adolescents
- Recovery of psychological skills
At the end of the training, the participants had the opportunity to integrate the acquired knowledge on trauma into their work practices and procedures to avoid re-traumatization of cases.
These activities are organized in the framework of the project “Sustainable Socio-Economic Reintegration of Returned Migrants in Albania" funded by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internation (#giz) des hommes, in cooperation with the municipalities of the cities
