"I graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology. Additionally, I continued my Professional Master's Studies in Psychological Counseling. For 15 years, I worked as a psychologist with young people addicted to drugs and alcohol, mostly in public social - care institutions. I was also the Head of the Emergency Center for the first returnees from war zones. Since 2021, I have been working as a mental health specialist at the Juvenile Justice Program for Terre des hommes, and I am responsible for interviewing, assessing and giving psychological support for cases returned from Syria, Iraq, and mentoring frontline Child Protection's workers. Prior to joining Tdh, I have served as a volunteer for various national and international civic society organizations, focused on supporting people in need, especially children. I joined Terres des hommes in February 2023, after 10 years of professional experience in the humanitarian and development sector, in the areas of design, monitoring and evaluation, capacity development and project management. "More than just a profession, journalism has been for me a communication tool which can teach, it can illuminate, and it can even inspire the audience. But it can do so, only if humans are determined to use it for those ends. With this idea and the passion to strengthen the voice of the weaker people, I started my 13-year-old path as a journalist in different local and national TV broadcasting. Meanwhile I had experiences as communication expert and trainer for youth, working as part time expert for different NGOs, until April 2022 when I got the opportunity to join Terre des hommes as Communication Officer.
