For 15 years, I worked as a psychologist with young people addicted to drugs and alcohol, mostly in public social - care institutions. I was also the Head of the Emergency Center for the first returnees from war zones. Since 2021, I have been working as a mental health specialist at the Juvenile Justice Program for Terre des hommes, and I am responsible for interviewing, assessing and giving psychological support for cases returned from Syria, Iraq, and mentoring frontline Child Protection's workers. "More than just a profession, journalism has been for me a communication tool which can teach, it can illuminate, and it can even inspire the audience. But it can do so, only if humans are determined to use it for those ends. With this idea and the passion to strengthen the voice of the weaker people, I started my 13-year-old path as a journalist in different local and national TV broadcasting. Meanwhile I had experiences as communication expert and trainer for youth, working as part time expert for different NGOs, until April 2022 when I got the opportunity to join Terre des hommes as Communication Officer.
