We had a special pleasure to participate in the activity “Friendly Information for Youth in Contact/Conflict with the Law” organized in framework of Crime Victims Protection Awareness Week by Terre des hommes Albania in partnership with the Ministry of Justice.
We are proud to hear from our local partners about the contribution of the youth and their involvement in the designing and adapting the Criminal Justice for Children Code in a child friendly language. This product prepared from children to children, creates the opportunity to further raise awareness about the importance of legal education and especially about accessible and understandable justice for children and youth having in its core the beneficiary insights and thoughts. Children and youth had the opportunity to have the hands on and fully contributing to shape a product that reflects their experiences and needs.
It is a privilege to be able to continuously support the advancement of democratic and rule of law principles in Albania, having a specific focus on youth empowerment and experiencing their enthusiasm and real contribution in Albania society.
This national initiative was part of the “Youth Voice for Justice and Rights” project, funded by the Austrian Development Agency.
