"Dream, Plan, Succeed!" with this motto of the young people of Elbasan who have come to paint on a wall a large picture, as a way to use in good purpose their artistic talent, through which they are able to convey messages of peace, love, diversity and coexistence in harmony.
For Tea, who has been part of the Elbasan youth group for almost a year, the finalization of another group initiative is a source of motivation for the good work done by all her peers.
"During the activities we have carried out along with other peers from Elbasan, we have managed to finalize two youth initiatives. The first was starting up a public library in Shushica. We have taken care to enrich it with different titles of books. The second initiative is this mural in the Park of Rinia. I am very happy about the good work we have all done together."
While Lorenco explains why they decided to paint the mural exactly at this place:
"This is a place that is frequented by many young people. The messages we have written are messages addressed to all our peers. Let's hope that from this popular place of the city these messages will spread and serve as a positive inspiration for the youth.”
Such initiatives are carried out by Terre des hommes Albania within the framework of the project "Prevention and safe reintegration of children and mothers returned from conflict zones", which is being implemented in partnership with the Coordination Center Against Violent Extremism with funding from the Global Community Engagement and Resilience (GCERF).
