Young people in Bicaj, Kukes Municipality, already have a hub dedicated to creativity, learning, and social interaction.
The youth group successfully completed the initiative they had identified during their journey using the "You Create" methodology, leading to a significant change for their peers and community.
At the inauguration of this youth space, Mrs. Enkelejda Kallçiu, the head of the Country Office of Tdh, and Mrs. Ada Shkurtaj, the Child Protection Officer at Unicef Albania, congratulated the young people for their enthusiastic and energetic work.The journey has just begun, and our young people are confident that they will be able to involve many other peers to bring this space to life with activities that will empower them and promote a sense of belonging to the administrative unit of the district.
This youth initiative was made possible within the program "Transformation of the National Response to Human Trafficking in and from Albania," led by UNICEF Albania and financially supported by the British Embassy Tirana.
