Successful Conclusion of Juvenile Justice Code and Youth Law Adaptation into Child-Friendly Language

We are delighted to share that we have successfully concluded the months-long consultation to adapt the Code of Criminal Justice for Juveniles and the Law on Youth into child-friendly language. This significant achievement marks a crucial step towards making the legal system more accessible and understandable for young individuals, an area where Terre des hommes has been contributing its expertise for years.

Understanding legal jargon can be challenging for children and teenagers. The legal language is often complex and filled with technical terms that can be difficult to understand. By adapting these critical documents into child-friendly language, we aim to ensure that young people can comprehend their rights and responsibilities more clearly and effectively.

All thanks to the incredible work done by our amazing young people from 8 cities across the country, who participated in the project "Youth Voice for Justice and Rights" with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency and ADC in Albania! We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed their time and expertise to this project.

We are proud of this accomplishment and remain committed to ongoing efforts to support and protect the rights of young people.
