The youth group has recently launched an initiative called the "You Create" journey to raise awareness about one of the primary challenges facing their community. They discussed the issue of young people engaging in risky behavior and developing different addictions, which can put them at risk of encountering or conflicting with the law. Instead of just discussing the problem, they took concrete actions!
Their initiative is related to using art as a catalyst for change. After organizing a series of advocacy activities to promote a healthy lifestyle in the community, family, school, and neighborhood, the Terre des hommes youth group expressed their creativity through painting. This demonstrated that the true power of change lies in prevention.
In this competition, young people from various classes, organized by our youth, were assessed by a panel comprising representatives from psychosocial services, the security officer, and the staff of Community Center No. 5 "For the Family," who chose the winning entry.
