Online Sexual Violence Study: 15 Young Co-Researchers Participate in a Data Analysis Workshop

Fifteen young people from "Sinan Tafaj" High School in Tirana and "Ibrahim Daci" School in Shupenza, who are co-researchers in Terre des hommes' study on online sexual violence among young people, participated in a two-day workshop.During the workshop, they analyzed the data collected during the research process with their peers in schools. During this two-month journey, the young people have gained new knowledge about the research they are leading, covering all its steps.

One of the girls who participated in the workshop shared this message at the end:
The provided information was very valuable, not only for someone like me who already knows how to respond and react to protect myself from this phenomenon, but also to share this knowledge with peers. In the current era, we are all exposed to online violence.
After completing this activity, the young co-researchers will present the findings and the research report.

The Safer Internet Technology Coalition research project, in which Tdh is one of the implementing partners, along with Royal Roads University (Canada), the International Institute for Child Rights and Development (USA), and the Kenya Alliance for the Advancement of Children (Kenya), aims to provide increased support to government and civil society actors to enhance their understanding of the risks young people face when using the Internet.
