"From Awareness to Action: Join the Fight Against Trafficking!"
This is the motto with which the national campaign was launched today in Tirana as part of the month-long initiative against human trafficking."At the beginning of the campaign in Mother Teresa Square, Terre des hommes Albania, along with their group of young people, joined the Ministry of Interior, as well as other international and local organizations, to distribute awareness messages regarding the prevention and fight against human trafficking.
Anti-trafficking messages were also shared during the conversation that the young people had with Mrs. Romina Kuko, the Deputy Minister of the Interior; Mrs. Denada Seferi, the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection; and Mrs. Nina Guga, the Deputy Minister of Education and Sports.
Messages dedicated to survivors of trafficking were written by youth on the pledge wall. Some of them were:
• Human trafficking requires attention and should be treated as an issue that demands immediate, cross-sectoral, and citizen action.
• Only together can we prevent this phenomenon.
