From creative projects to informative sessions, our children and young people in the cities of Shkodra and Bulqiza are dedicated to spreading messages about gender equality and the positive impact that every girl and woman has in their community on International Women's Day. At Community Center No. 5 for Families in Shkodër, a discussion was held in the presence of girls and mothers who utilize the services provided at this center. The discussion focused on inspiring stories of women who have made history by advocating for rights, challenging stereotypes, and combating prejudices that are still prevalent in society today.
While at the Community Center in Bulqiza, students from the professional high school "Nazmi Rushiti" created flowers using recyclable materials as a symbol of the day. They then distributed these flowers to girls and women in the city's pedestrian area.

"We made them with a lot of love, so we want every time mothers and wives see them, to remind them that they are never alone."
These activities were carried out within the program "Transformation of the National Response to Trafficking in Human Beings in and from Albania," implemented by Tdh, led by UNICEF Albania, and supported by the British Embassy in Tirana.
