Goal
Developing working protocols to enable the establishment and functioning of two child tailored One Stop Centers in Shkodra and Vlora Regional Hospitals.
As the Albanian government is determined to have more child-friendly services, and because Albania has ratified the Council of Europe Convention on the Ratification of the Council of Europe on the Protection of Children against Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (known as the Lanzarote convention) through Law no. 10 071, dated 9.2.2009, Terre des hommes in partnership with UNICEF Albania is drafting the necessary Standard Operating Procedures and related working protocols to enable the establishment and functioning of two child tailored One Stop Centers in Shkodra and Vlora Regional Hospitals.
Activities:
1.Legal review report - Legal/Administrative regulatory (LR) review report and a recommendation paper developed. The LR will be analysing the legal provisions and normative frameworks that provide for establishment and functioning of multi-sectoral services for child survivors of worst forms of abuse including sexual abuse.
2.Development of the model and the SOPs - A model for provision of integrated services for children victims of worst forms of child abuse including sexual abuse (clinical based) that includes: Standart operation procedures and minimum standarts for package of services for these centers.
3. Interagency training curricula and onjob coaching - A working document for front line professionals engaged in the emergency one stop centers developed including: codes of conduct, referral pathways, tools and annexes useful for the operations of the center. Iintegrated training package for all core professionals engaged in managing cases of children victims of worst forms of child abuse developed and delivered.
