How Art Therapy Can Help Frontline Professionals in the Child Protection System:  Highlights from Our Training Session

In Lezha, Albania, a transformative journey unfolded over the course of three intensive days. With a shared vision of harnessing the healing potential of art, 16 professionals from diverse sectors within Lezha's child protection system came together for a ground breaking Art Therapy training session. This collaborative effort aimed to equip participants with the tools and insights necessary to support vulnerable children through the medium of creativity.

Led by a seasoned expert in the field, supported by the dedicated staff of Terre des hommes, the training delved deep into the essence of art as a conduit for healing and expression. From seasoned psychologists to frontline social workers, 16 passionate individuals immersed themselves in an enriching experience that would leave a lasting impact on their professional practice.

Through interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and insightful discussions, we explored innovative approaches to supporting the well-being of children in our community. It was inspiring to witness the commitment and passion of each participant as they engaged wholeheartedly in the learning process.
