During the National Awareness Week for the Protection of Crime Victims, the Terre des hommes team in Lezhë and Shkodër organized an informative session on free legal services. The session involved young people participating in the "Youth Voice for Justice and Rights" project, funded by the Austrian Development Agency and ADC in Albania.
For most of the young people, this was the first time they had heard about this service.
"For the first time, I learned that there is free legal aid available, whether it is to understand your rights, seek advice on a legal matter, or even be represented by a lawyer in case of inability to pay," says Reisa, a 17-year-old member of the Lezhë youth group.
Thanks to the conversation with representatives of the Primary Legal Aid Service, the young people of Lezha and Shkodra seized the opportunity to empower themselves with knowledge and instructions to confidently and clearly address any legal situation.
