In the heart of Bulqiza, a transformative initiative is taking place that is reshaping the futures of its young inhabitants. Through the "You Create" methodology, exclusively implemented by Terre des hommes, local youth are being given the tools and opportunities to become empowered leaders within their community. The "You Create" methodology focuses on utilizing the arts as a means to promote personal growth, community engagement, and social change. By integrating various forms of artistic expression, this approach allows young people to explore their potential, develop critical skills, and contribute positively to their surroundings.
Asimina, a 17-year-old participant in the training, says:
"It was undoubtedly one of the best opportunities I have had to develop leadership skills and collaborate with the group on youth initiatives which are going to bring about positive change"
By empowering the youth and giving them a platform to express their creativity, Terre des hommes is helping to build a brighter future for Bulqiza. Their initiatives serve as inspirations for others, creating a ripple effect of positive change for their community.
This training was organized by Tdh Albania as one of the partners implementing the program "Transformation of the National Response to Human Trafficking in and from Albania" led by UNICEF Albania and supported by the British Embassy Tirana.
