Empowering Change, Youth Advocacy & Lobbying Training Initiative Begins!

Fieri, Shkodra, Dibra, and Lezha are the main cities where young individuals trained in advocacy and lobbying have begun sharing the knowledge they have gained with their peers. Empowering young people to recognize the paths they can follow to create the future they desire in our communities is a lengthy process. However, the young individuals involved in the project "Youth Voice for Justice and Rights," with financial support from the Austrian Development Agency and ADC in Albania, implemented by Tdh, are confident that their peers are prepared to participate in this endeavour. Explore the perspectives of young participants in this process.

"I feel confident when I present in front of my peers. I appreciate the opportunity that Tdh gave me as I discovered new skills within myself. - says Alesia, a 17-year-old from the city of Lezha. "The training provided by my peers helped me gain a better understanding of processes such as advocacy and lobbying, as well as the necessary steps to achieve better results for the issues that are important to us, young people." - asserts Ermiri, a 17-year-old from Dibra.

While Nikola from Shkodra shares his impression after participating in the training: "Often, we don't know how to address our causes, but now through the steps we learned in this session, we have clarified the path we should follow for a certain cause until its resolution."

Together, we can amplify youth voices and drive positive change in our communities.
