Together with the young people of Kukës, we are engaged in the project "Youth Voice for Justice and Rights" with funding from the Austrian Development Agency and ADC in Albania, we have taken a step forward in raising awareness of the lack of equal opportunities in society.
On the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, young people participated in an activity where they shared their experiences, challenges, and aspirations for a future with increased social opportunities for all.
Aris, who is 17 years old, shares what he learned after this activity.
"The exercise we did made me truly understand what it means to be left behind when you can't keep up with others. It's hard to watch everyone else thrive while no one turns their head to ask if you need help."
