"No More Silence! Together against Human Trafficking" is the slogan of the awareness campaign that has already started since May 29th with the first two activities held at the “Jordan Misja” High School in Shkodra and at the “Bajram Abdiu” High School in Bicaj, Kukes.
During these two meetings, attended by young people and professionals, information was distributed on the work done by the Multifunctional Community Center, One Stop Centers, Terre des hommes, Unicef, the Local Prosecutor's Office and the staff of schools’ psychologists.
The information served to open a discussion between young people and the professionals present at this meeting. They understood how they should act in cases where they or others may be at risk of trafficking and not only that. Such awareness meetings, which will continue throughout June to culminate on July 30 - World Day Against Human Trafficking, are organized as part of the "Transforming the National Response to Human Trafficking in and from Albania" program, implemented by Tdh, led by UNICEF Albania and supported by the British Embassy Tirana.
