Another Step Towards a More Child-friendly Justice System is Marked!

Terre des hommes, in cooperation with the General Prosecutor's Office, has organized, within the framework of the "Youth Voice for Justice and Rights" project, a two-day training session for legal professionals on friendly interviewing techniques for minors who are victims of physical and sexual abuse. 

The training, funded by the Austrian Development Agency and ADC in Albania, was also attended with interest by Chris CHENAVIER, Operations Deputy Manager for Asia, Europe, and LATAM at Terre des hommes. He is on a three-day official visit to Albania see first-hand first-hand the work done by Tdh staff in protecting children's rights.


Twenty-five prosecutors, Judicial Police Officers, and coordinators of subjects with special status from the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana, Durrës, Elbasan, Korça, and Dibra participated in the training held in Tirana. One of them evaluated the training as follows: "I believe that understanding the techniques of interviewing minors will impact my work, especially in ensuring minimal consequences for the minor during the investigative process."
