The results of the work done over the years in the implementation of the "Sustainable Socio-Economic Re-Integration of Returned Migrants" project were in the spotlight of the program "Good Morning Albania" on the Albanian Public Radio and Television where representatives of the Terre des hommes team were invited. director of the National Office of Tdh, Mrs. Enkelejda Kallçiu and the Project Officer, Mrs. Ornela Hamataj. During the conversation in the studio, they focused on the aspects of the intervention and emphasized the importance of comprehensive packages.
Head of Country Office of Terre des hommes, Mrs. Enkelejda Kallçiu, focused on the multifaceted interventions carried out in cooperation with the municipalities:
"We know that when returned migrants come to their homeland, the areas in which they need are numerous. They have financial needs, the need to be re-employed, for professional training, mediation for employment, various social issues that these families encounter from time to time. So the interventions are multifaceted and in partnership with the municipalities, we have worked so that this support is complete for migrants."
The Project Officer, Mrs. Ornela Hamataj, gave more details about the services offered in the multifunctional community centers:
"These centers are comprehensive. This obviously means that the focus is on families returned from illegal migration with significant socio-economic needs, including all categories: children, young people, community citizens or even actors and professionals working in this field. Reintegration does not happen without a comprehensive package"
