Eighteen young people from Elbasan participated in the sixth meeting organized within the framework of the "You create" process. In this phase of reflection, which is called "River’s Flow", they are conceived as a curved line between the past, present and future, through drawing and painting they express their thoughts and everything they have experienced and realized during the "You Create" process. In the eyes of these young people, the “You Create” journey was described in full color, the tones of which indicated the change they had made:
"The past appears to us in dark blue and black," - says one of the girls. "We chose these colors, not to show that our past has been gloomy and without laughter, rather we wanted to show how we were, really before our journey to Terre des hommes."
What about the present?
"The present is depicted in blue" – one of the young people from Elbasan's group answers immediately. "It is the current color of the river and the contrast of colors, it shows the transition from the darkest to the lightest, as well. This is how we intended to show all the great impact that this journey has had on our present.” - he says.
Whereas the future is colored yellow. A 16-year-old explains this choice:
"I colored the future with bright yellow like the sun itself, because that's how I see our future in "Terre des hommes", so much brighter. Then we summed up all this under the expression "Everything starts with us, continues with us and ends with us".
