As part of the national campaign to prevent and combat human trafficking, the One-Stop Center in Fier, in collaboration with the Psycho-Social Center VATRA, organized a roundtable discussion with key stakeholders.
Participants included child protection professionals from the Fier and Patos municipalities, representatives from schools, the Regional Hospital, the Fier Regional Directorate of State Social Service, the Police, free legal services, and the Office for Protection from Discrimination. Representatives from the State Agency for the Protection of Children's Rights (SAPCR) and Terre des Hommes also contributed to the discussion, focusing on revitalizing and strengthening referral structures for trafficking victims at both local and national levels.
Ongoing efforts are dedicated to preventing and managing cases at risk of trafficking or other forms of violence.
This workshop was held as part of the program “Transforming the National Response to Human Trafficking to and from Albania,” implemented by Terre des hommes, led by UNICEF Albania, and supported by the British Embassy in Tirana.
