The anti-trafficking awareness campaign in Shkodër has been successfully completed.
The final event, held as part of the World Day against Trafficking, brought together children, young people, and child protection professionals from the municipality, state police, regional hospital, and school psychologists at the One Stop Center in Shkodër.
Inspired by the impactful images of children and young people conveying powerful messages against bullying and advocating for their rights, the professionals attending this meeting emphasized the significance of reporting and fostering cooperation with children. The goal is to empower them further and prevent detrimental societal issues like human trafficking.
Alesia, a 13-year-old participant in a series of awareness-raising activities and the author of one of the paintings in the exhibition, says:
"When my rights are violated, I know that besides my mom and dad, I can talk to other professionals who are there to support me."
The Awareness Campaign was initiated within the program "𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑠𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑁𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝐻𝑢𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝐴𝑙𝑏𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑎", implemented by Tdh, led by UNICEF Albania and supported by the British Embassy Tirana.
