Terre des hommes Albania, as one of the civil society organizations who support the reform and modeling of the social services in partnership with the Municipalities and the public institutions, was part of the event organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection for the 3rd anniversary of Social Fund, created by the Albanian Government to guarantee a sustainable national social service. The head of the Mission Terre des hommes in Albania, Enkelejda Kallçiu shared with the participants in this event a success story from the daily work that Tdh Albania has done through years in partnership with the Municipalities and the Multifunctional Community Centers.
“Since 2016 untill now, we as Terre des hommes, have worked hard to provide guidelines, technical resource, national standards, different capacity building programs and managing the Multifunctional Community Centers by offering additional sources to carry better their functions. The success story which I want it to share today is located at the Municipality of Elbasan, which is a good example because of the availability that the municipality has shown to extend social services within its jurisdictional territory”.
