In frame of the project “Establishment of Specialized Services-Kukës Multifunctional Center for Psychosocial Wellbeing”, part of the program EU for Social Care Terre des hommes organised psycho-educational sessions for communities:
Improving elders' personal wellbeing, positively influencing their children and bringing them closer to psychosocial support.
Enhancing youth understanding of the connection between communication and emotions
Learning about the development of conscious, open and nonviolent communication and empathy skills.
Supporting mothers in difficult situations involving children and informing them how to manage anxiety and negative emotions.
Terre des hommes Albania continue to support community and local institutions contributing to well-being and resilience. Through the Multifunctional Centre for Psychosocial Welfare in Kukës there is provided support and Psychological First Aid (PFA) to individuals facing difficult or stressful situations. Twelve cases who have encountered emotional, social or family difficulties have been supported by providing specialized interventions and practical assistance.
The project “Establishment of Specialized Services-Kukës Multifunctional Center for Psychosocial Wellbeing”, implemented by Terre des hommes Albania in collaboration with the Municipality of Kukës, is part of the program “EU for Social Care”. This program is funded by the European Union Delegation to Albania, implemented by UNICEF Albania and World Vision Albania, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection Albania.
