On this day, we aim to empower our youth as advocates for peace and pledge to provide them with opportunities to enhance their skills to tackle the challenges in building a sustainable future.
In Kukës and Dibër, youth groups engaged in the project "Youth Voice for Justice and Rights" with financial support from ADA and ADC in Albania, participated in exercises and games aimed at promoting skills such as communication and active listening, which are crucial for empowering young people to become agents of positive change in their community.
"With the right skills, we try to actively participate in the decision-making process and raise our voice to the structures responsible for the problems that concern us", affirms Esi, one of the 17-year-old girls in the Dibra group.
World Youth Skills Day is a reminder of the incredible potential that lies within our youth. The young people of Kukës and Dibër, through their participation in the "Youth Voice for Justice and Rights" project, are exemplifying the transformative power of skill development. By promoting communication and active listening, we are not only empowering them but also building a foundation for a more just, and inclusive society.
