The young people of Terre des hommes, with funding from the Austrian Development Agency and ADC in Albania, engaged in the project "Youth Voice for Justice and Rights." They undertook an awareness initiative with the community in the area where they live, participating in the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
"The right to a life without violence" was the slogan they used to share information through leaflets and communicate with passers-by about the violence referral mechanism and the available forms for reporting it.
"By raising awareness, we can strive to take action against any form of violence targeting girls and women," affirmed one of the young participants in this initiative.There were many passers-by who showed interest in obtaining information. In support of this youth initiative, the child protection worker from unit no. 6 in Tirana and the psychologist from the "Myslym Keta" gymnasium were also present.
