On the World Day Against Human Trafficking, Bulqize Breaks the Silence

On the World Day Against Human Trafficking, the promenade of the city of Bulqiza became the venue for the culmination of an awareness campaign filled with empowering activities involving the children and youth of the city. On this day, Bulqiza broke the silence by uniting against this phenomenon through a series of paintings. These creations were made by children who were actively involved in the campaign, aiming to convey sensitizing messages.

The Mayor of the Municipality, Festime Mjeshtri, expressed her satisfaction with the new transportation service that has started to be offered through Terre des hommes:
"Through the camper, the remote areas of Bulqiza will be accessed, where residents will have the opportunity to learn about the phenomenon and be directed towards services that aim to provide support to families in need."

Part of the integrated services that will be offered in Bulqiza includes psycho-social services, which will begin with the opening of the first Multifunctional Community Center in the city.

The Awareness Campaign was initiated in collaboration with the Municipality of Bulqiza, within the program "𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑠𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑁𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝐻𝑢𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝐴𝑙𝑏𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑎", implemented by Tdh, led by UNICEF Albania and supported by the British Embassy Tirana.
