Twenty-five child protection professionals and frontline social workers were part of two workshops organized in Shkodra (May 25th) and Fier (May 26th) focused on "Identification and response to children displaying harmful sexual behavior". During these two workshops the participants discussed on different issues like:
• the treatment of the characteristics of child development,
• the Individual Protection Plan including health care,
• legal services,
• trauma intervention,
• counseling and therapy,
• and work with parents for positive role-model. The participants valued these two workshops as an excellent opportunity to strengthen intersectoral collaboration to meet all the needs of the child, including cases referred to centers. These workshops were held as part of the program "Transformation of the National Response to Human Trafficking in and from Albania", implemented by Tdh, led by UNICEF Albania and supported by the British Embassy Tirana.
